Should have a board member on the committee as liaison. | Design | | | Gayle: Last Fall's (Hogan) house is Gold LEED. Some of the organizations involved can be approached for membership. New house (Sherman) is getting started (charrette held) -- dial up participation on a guide/how-to project for Habitat. Meeting with Disability Advocates of Kent County to assist with accessibility issues. Wonders if it is possible to put together donation conduit for builders' tools (like gloves). | Needs help from PR to announce -- Habitat and GRCC to be approached. Special meeting/party for partners? Approach Program about holding meeting at M-TEC and incorporate party. | Outreach -- PR | | | Vicki: No results from call for results stories. Questions about the appropriateness of cross-promoting events with outher organizations, as well as marketing opportunities for members. | Vicki will re-position and approach companies more directly. Kyle will put together list of potential memebrs to approach. Kyle will add "evaluation time" to meeting agendas. | Outreach -- Networking | | | Carol: Discussion about promoting the SBF at related events. | Kyle needs to pass off remaining brochures to Deb Steketee for Aquinas event in late March. Someone needs to follow up with Tim Morris re: tradeshow banners. | Social Responsibility | | | Bill: Having difficulties relating social responsibility to idividual companies. Ned no blood on the committee. | Marylu asked if Bill can throw together a survey to be provided to members, particularly new members.
