Our presenters will be Roger Rehkopt, Vice President of Rockford Construction and Cody Green, Safety and Environmental Coordinator with Shape Corporation. Resources P2 Environmental Stewardship Survey In an effort to bring Environmental Stewardship into the forefront of Michigan Communities, the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is seeking key input from business organizations and their members or clients who collaborate with them to advance pollution prevention and environmental management in the State. The following linked survey is designed to help the DEQ Office ofEnvironmental Assistance determine program enhancements that would encourage increased participation in voluntary environmental stewardship efforts in Michigan. This survey represents an opportunity to provide feedback on what resources, services, and incentives may be important to you and your business, now and in the future. P2 Environmental Stewardship survey http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/9JS56XR DTE Providing Free Programmable Thermostats to Business Customers Programmable thermostats make it easier for both homes and businesses to save energy. As part of its Your Energy Savings program, DTE Energy is providing free programmable thermostats to the first 6,000 business customers who contact them. The opportunity provides businesses with ways to save money and help the environment by saving energy. Installation included. The program offers incentives for an array of energy-saving technologies. Customers can pick from a menu of “prescriptive” measures with predetermined incentive rates and energy saving estimates, or can submit their projects for custom measures that can be calculated on a case-by-case basis.
