Speaker suggestion and feedback forms on table may be filled out
Updates given from various committees:
- Design committee- owners have moved into home and the Sherman Street project has begun
- Social Responsibility Committee- putting research into developing a document and field guide on social responsibility
- Energy Committee- putting together an energy assessment guide
- Outreach Committee- collecting positive stories from SBF members to market to potential members

foodprint™

Janine Oberstadt, Owner/Principle of foodprint™, presented on the greening of meetings and hospitality. She offered guidelines, resources, and sustainable solutions to make your organization’s commitment to sustainability in this very visible but often over-looked area. Materials will be mailed out to the group with the next newsletter and be made available on the WMSBF website.

Working Session

WMSBF President Marylu Dykstra led a table activity to discuss challenges and solutions to having sustainable meetings, and the trade offs that organizations must sometimes make. Results of these table discussions will be forwarded to the WMSBF Program committee to incorporate into future meeting topics.
