Bruce Thompson has worked in corporate development roles for over 20 years with a focus on developing and implementing business strategies for emerging markets. He has participated in the launch of 10 new ventures that have included start-ups, joint ventures and corporate spinouts. Thompson is currently an adjunct professor at Aquinas College in their Sustainable Business program with a focus on sustainable business innovation. He is also a partner in MAPA Group and is focused on launching joint ventures with Spanish renewable energy companies in the Great Lakes region. He also serves as an advisor to the Right Place CEO Sustainability Council. Thompson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Aquinas College and a Master of International Management Degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Scott Watson is an associate in the Grand Rapids office of Warner Norcross & Judd.  He is a member of Warner's environmental, corporate social responsibility, and climate change practice groups.  He focuses his practice on environmental law--particularly natural resources law and the energy industry.  He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and graduated salutatorian from Vermont Law School, where he received both his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, and Master of Studies in Environmental Law, magna cum laude.  He served as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert J. Jonker, United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan
